LA COLLEZIONE SILVANO MONETA  nasce alla fine della mia attività lavorativa

in qualità di tecnico telefonico addetto alla TELEFONIA PUBBLICA E PRIVATA.

Forse è stata la nostalgia  di lasciare un lavoro molto particolare ed

interessante che mi ha invogliato ad incominciare questa storia.

Essere a contatto con telefoni  ben curati nella costruzione, piacevoli al

tatto ed all’occhio sia come aspetto, profili, sagome esterne, così pure per i

circuiti elettromeccanici interni ben curati e disposti a regola d’arte, tutto

ciò mi ha sempre entusiasmato :mi appassionavo nel riparare, aggiornare,

curiosare nelle apparecchiature telefoniche fino ad entrare quasi a far parte

di loro stesse, forse forse anche emozionandomi:::::::

Gli anni di raccolta di pezzi telefonici spaziano dal 1894 al 1980 circa; ci

sono i primi,spesso rudimentali apparecchi,  non sempre facili e comodi nell’

uso.

La collezione si vanta di avere nel suo ambito anche documenti storici ,

immagini, materiali ed informazioni sulla vita del telefono, con riferimento

sopratutto all’Italia nel periodo fine ottocento sino alla soglia della

telefonia senza filo o mobile.

Ci si tuffa nei ricordi degli anni ‘960 con gli apparecchi neri a muro e da

tavolo e tanti altri apparecchi speciali: dal telefono famigliare o d’ufficio

agli apparecchi telefonici a gettoni, usati nelle cabine o P.T.P. (POSTO

TELEFONO PUBBLICO),

gettoni che alla fine del 1999  vanno fuori uso .

Abbiamo poi le targhe telefoniche  in ferro con i colori sociali gialli e blu

della S.T.I.P.E.L. che nel 1964 diventa S.I.P. Queste targhe indicavano un P.T.

P., successivamente telefoni a moneta ed infine a scheda magnetica.

Il tutto ha una precisa funzione didattica che,  inserita in un programma di

studio delle Scienze e della Tecnica delle Comunicazione e dell’evoluzione 

umana e sociale, permette ai visitatori delle mostre di percorrere interamente

la Storia delle Telecomunicazioni.

PUBLIC TELEPHONE)

tokens at the end of 1999 should be out of order.

We then telephone iron plates with the colors yellow and blue

the S.T.I.P.E.L. who in 1964 became S.I.P. These plates indicated a P.T.

P., after coin-operated phones and finally to card.

Everything has a specific educational function which, as part of a program of

study of Science and Technology of Communication and the evolution

human and social, allowing visitors to the exhibitions to travel entirely

History of Telecommunications.
